Azara DRVS(R) Receives 2014 ONC HIT Certification

Azara’s SaaS Reporting and Analytics Platform for Community Health is Certified for Stage 1 and Stage 2 Meaningful Use Measures, Ensuring Continued MU Success on Behalf of Its Clients

Burlington, MA - March 20, 2014 – Azara Healthcare, LLC, a leading provider of data-driven reporting and analytics for the community health center marketplace today announced that Azara DRVS (3.6.1) with Azara DRVS CQM (1.0) its cloud-based reporting and analytics service, is compliant with the ONC 2014 Edition Standards & Certification Criteria and was certified as a Modular EHR on December 23, 2013, by InfoGard Laboratories, Inc., an ONC-ACB, in accordance with the applicable eligible provider certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The ONC 2014 Edition criteria support both Stage 1 and 2 Meaningful Use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

Jeff Brandes, President, and CEO of Azara, said: “We are pleased to be counted amongst the few Reporting and Analytics products that have been certified to the 2014 Edition criteria.   Being certified is very important for Azara and our community health center clients because now every one of them can track and report their clinical quality measures using the 2014 standards.  We are very excited to have achieved this critical milestone, and since we operate using a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, all of our clients will now be able to take advantage of this new functionality simultaneously, without having to worry about upgrading to a new version to be ready to meet the 2014 requirements.”

The ONC HIT Certification Program certifies that Complete EHRs meet all of the 2014 Edition criteria and EHR Modules meet one or more—but not all—of the criteria approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) for either eligible provider or hospital technology.

Azara DRVS CQM 1.0’s, certification number is IG-3114-13-0043. This Ambulatory EHR Module is 2014 Edition compliant and has been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.   This certification conferred by InfoGard does not represent an endorsement of the certified EHR technology by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or guarantee receipt of incentive payments.

Azara DRVS has been certified on the following criteria:

  • 170.314(c) (1) Clinical Quality Measures – Capture & Export
