Azara Glossary: Open Access

Open access describes a philosophy to empower medical assistants by giving them the digital tools they need to work effectively at the top levels of their license.

By doing so, IT managers acknowledge that EHR is a clinical initiative, and the collaboration results in greater utilization of the EHR platform, which in turn supports the reporting needed for EHR Meaningful Use as well as better operational readiness.
