Azara Healthcare, a leader in the community healthcare data analytics industry, is adding to their Product Management team. The Associate Product Manager will serve as critical link between the technical capacity of our Product Development / ENG team and our business objectives by:

  • Supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of our software product’s features
  • Working alongside client facing personnel to understand and scope the business need
  • Suggesting product enhancements to improve user experience
  • Helping to prioritize the implementation of new features and setting specific timelines
  • Defining, analyzing and documenting requirements for Product Development based on business requirements and need

Responsibilities

The Associate Product Manager will ensure successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of our software product’s features.

  • Review and deliver specifications to the ENG team
  • Resolve issues and drive decision making process to allow ENG to complete deliverables
    • Update specifications due to lack of clarity
    • Resolve questions not originally anticipated at time of original design
  • This resource will identify common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations
  • They will be constantly on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer
  • Own and develop relationship with other departments (ENG, Implementation, Client Adoption) and, when appropriate, directly with clients
  • Coordinating with the engineering department to deliver functional solutions
  • Perform quality assurance controls on products throughout the product lifecycle and ahead of the product reaching QA

The Associate Product Manager will also ensure proper ‘advertisement’ and positioning of new features.

  • Typically to existing clients as opposed to external marketing and/or lead generation
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate users’ reactions post release
  • Create release, support and training documents for internal and external users
  • Participate in initial system configuration post release

Education & Relevant Experience

  • BS/BA in Computer science, information systems, or other technology/science degree
  • Proficient in SQL Server
  • 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
